Most exited about?

What are you most exited for?
i was wandering what you guys are most exited about the upcoming game. for me its a list of things (1 being the most exited)

1. Its SAO!!
   
2. Possibly making my own clothes.
   
3. Eventually buying my own house.
   
4. Reading the News.
   
5. Roleplaying with good friends and possibly meeting some more great friends.
   
6. Getting Stronger and possibly fight on the front lines.
   
7. The Possibility of getting married in game
   
8. Trying out different weapons to see witch suits me
   
9. Learning various skills
   
10. The Success and popularity of the game

(even though 1 being the most exited dosnt mean im not immensly exited about 10!)

I'm guessing the flexibility of the clothing and weapons that will be seen in the game as people can make their own items.

In addition to this, since it's run by players, I want to see which guild will be looked up to as the Government.

hopfully there will be some officiual guild that gives us all news on the latest updates+such

I guess that I am looking forward to customised guilds tailored to a purpose, fulfilling specific needs. Also RP-ing as an awesome character!

10 reasons are deffinatly not enough but it shows you have some effort to atleast do 10 XD.

Dat ragequit. Mmm mm mm mm. It could be anyone. The game would have to be lagless so it's fair. Which is nearly impossible due to client-side issues. I am not looking forward to the one-death system. It will fail in many ways. Trust me.

What I am most looking forward to naturally are graphics and presentation. That's what I love most about games. The graphics and the presentation. Would it be bland and boring or would it be breathtaking and amazing.

Gotta agree, but I think the RP aspect could lead one to overlook a graphic flaw or two.

I think that there will be many revive items and you could donate a small amount to get your save back. Also, under lvl 10, you respawn.

I dunno. Some people are children on BYOND with no money. Wouldn't be very fair.

Well the money isn't really the problem. Just not every 13 year old has a Paypal account and credit card. Lol.
A low death penalty like that couldn't be in a SAO RPG! c;

Yeah but, even if it is a lot, the overall death penalty in SAO was, well, death. This should be no different. I can see noobs not wanting to be spam killed, but as long as they stay on lower leveled floors as they become ready to progress the problem should solve itself that way.

You are right, it should be quite harsh but not crippling if you die. Harsh enough to make you be very careful and not just rush into battles like other mmo's. But the n00bs should not lose levels (as in those below level 10 just respawn)

And as you said, they can and should just level until they are ready before progressing to harder areas.

I also agree with Tetsu. I would still play, but wouldn't be as excited if you didn't lose your save when you died.

We should do a poll and make the death system based on that.
I saw a poll subtitle on the portal so Haru/Steffi get on it!

I think if the Death system isn't as severe as it is, it wont be as fun. People will use their characters wisely and not be like: "IMMA GO 1V1 THE BOSS!" It'll make the game more... civil I suppose.

Like I said before, in the PvP aspect your death penalty is better. But keep in mind this game is strongly based around RP, so in order to have the system apply with this is to make the death system delete your character after being killed.

Well actually. RP is not heavy.

It dosen't have to be RPing attacks. Infact I don't think you would have time for that since the minute you start typing, a random Joe comes along and takes your ass out.

So the reason for the RP is to have a feel of SAO. Equipping clothes can be RPed e.g

"Haruka withdraws the tattered cloak from his back and scuffily folds it and packs it into his sack."

Though before a fight, someone should atleast instigate if they want to fight e.g

That kinda thing. It's optional but I mean...If you're gonna RP attacks you better configure it with the person otherwise they may kill you.

I'm not gonna take any complaints about you guys dying since it's RPVP

Yeah, Rp fighting is stupid, I will just Rp chat and act. I don't even under stand things like 'Hayabusa draws his sword.' What is the point. Just Rp chat as I said.
Also, instigating a fight is just part of the RP and is pretty obvious unless your character is like a sociopath in which case they could just run up and murder people. Otherwise, a reason for engaging someone is probably needed for justification. And sociopaths will be hunted down like animals...

there definately should be some sort of death system, otherwise it really wouldnt be sao. i would say i am most excited bout the guild system and working together between guilds to kill a boss.

If you die in the game, your save file gets deleted.

oh thats quite peak, if u delete everything in the sav file, then all the high level people would hunt the level 1s and they would have to restart again and again.

There isn't a death penalty until level 10.

right so then that should be fine, it is quite legit.

Yeah. Haru thought about lowering it to 5, but Tetsu and I talked him out of it (I think).
